parker donned the super cool university of oregon jersey yesterday and took a trip to school with jeremy. he sure knows how to pose for the camera already!

park had a great time hangin' out with my mother-in-law this week (a.k.a. "granny" char...that's the name we decided on). i'm really glad she had a chance to make it out here and see what a great little boy he is!

we had a late summer barbecue at our house today...jeremy's mom is in town from oregon and his sister wanted to introduce her to her boyfriend's parents who also happen to be in town. whew, that's a mouthful. we made especially yummy barbecued chicken and relaxed, ate and talked. i really should have taken a nap first, though...i'm absolutely beat. parker hasn't been sleeping very well lately - his top two teeth are coming in and have been giving him hell. another week starts tomorrow. i guess i'll try to take a nap next saturday.

Isn't this the cutest thing ever. Worn out from eating oatmeal. Being a baby is tough work.

ok. this entry is for kristen...parker went to bed a bit early tonight so i have exactly 15 minutes of free time. he's sitting up really well on his own now and can keep himself entertained for a bit...now only if we could figure out a solution to the spitting up (for now, endless laundry is the only solution!)
